What is the Skeletal System?
Definition: The hard structure (bones and cartilages) that provides a frame for the body of an animal.
What is the purpose?
It supports the body and protects it. It's what the muscles are attached to, without that you couldn't have any range of motion. It protects and stores your organs, it supports your body and allows you to stand upright. For example, the ribs protect your vital organs from any physical damage. Without it, you would just be a blob on the ground.
